I was very nervous yesterday as I waited for the daily paper to come out. Last week I was interviewed for the Home and Garden supplement.
The photo was taken under the kowhai trees on our property and it was about 6 in the evening and it was 29 degrees! Hopefully you can enlarge the article enough to be able to read it.
Today at work I had several people come up to me and tell me how nice they thought the article was which made me smile.
And yes, I do think of mistakes as adventures, traditional quilting can get stressful, especially if you have to keep unpicking!
Enjoy the rest of your week!

I'll be running an embellishment class at The Studio on Sunday the 23rd of March and are we going to have fun! We'll be making these gorgeous necklaces or use them as a broach, and there will be fabric fancies if you're not into metal!
Class runs from 9.30 to 4pm cost is $50 per person and space is limited.

The trees are full of circadas at the moment. I don't mind them, it's great so see so much life around. And it's a sign of summer! The noise however is incredible and they are not restricted to the trees, no they sit on the outside of the window mesh and come down the chimney, which is just silly as the dog lies in wait and eats them!
When there's no mess, there's madness!

What a gorgeous Sunday we're having here in Levin. Today I'm trying to finish one of my WIP's. And I'm trying not to get side tracked.

I made a couple of cushion covers for chairs, however, it was such a nice day today that at lunchtime we were tempted to find a shady spot outdoors and relax with the birds.
