Bag lady

I found this a few days ago. Don't you think it's gorgeous? It is very small, you'd only just get your lunch in it! And it's very old and worn. Thought it had lots of potential.
What do you think?

So I decided I would cover the inside with some rose tissues.

But do you think I should do the outside too?
Let me know what you think...

ooo that IS a beauty ... the inside looks like real rose petals = gorgeous! I think I'd live with it for a bit ... I bet you'll know when it's time to do something with the outside ... if that time comes!
Hey, I started my Christmas art journal today, were you going to do that too?
Love your QB 5 category on your blogroll = brilliant idea!!!

I love the box. is the outside leather? if so, I would polish it up and leave as is. The rose tissue is lovely inside. Great find!

Don't do the outside - it is perfect with maybe some leather conditioner applied. What a nice surprise to open it and see the lovely interior. How did you apply the tissue?

Ooo, I am with Lynn-- leave the outside be. It makes the inside a lovely surprise! If you do anything to the outside, make it minimal (a single rose applique' or a word) so the original character stays intact. What a GREAT find!

Awesome black and whites! I'm with the other's, leave the outside, it makes the rose surprise really special. M

Me too, I would leave the outside to reveal all its history.
